The Shaya bowl set, a trio of roundness, encourages you to imagine your own uses:
- Stacked it shines on a shelf,
- Spread out on a low table, each bowl dialogues in concert;
- Aligned neatly on a console it becomes a pocket emptier;
- Nestled here and there on an autumnal table, the bowls gently rattle.
Beyond its apparent candor, this simplicity of lines, Shaya is the fruit of patient artisanal work: the horn heated to be able to give it its shape using a manual press. The horn is then scratched by hand to give it this pencil texture. A lacquer is applied as a finish, so that each piece lasts and satins. And to emphasize its roundness with a golden shine, the horn piece is then set with brass.
